Sport Court Awarded ISO 14001 Certification

POSTED ON 10/27/10 | Connor Sport Court International’s Environmental Management System has been awarded ISO 14001:2004 certification by an independent third party auditor, the company announced today. “ISO 14001:2004 registration means the company has created and has had approved an Environmental Management System which enables Sport Court to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities, products and services, and to improve these practices continually,” said Ron Cerny, President and CEO. ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization and is a network of the national standards of 163 countries.

POSTED ON 10/13/10 | Sport Court is now in its 21st year of being the official surface for USA Volleyball, said Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Connor Sport Court International, parent company of Sport Court, based in Salt Lake City. “In addition, we have been the only surface used for the NCAA Volleyball Championships since 1993” The video explains how volleyball experienced tremendous growth once Sport Court demonstrated that its court surfaces provided ideal performance as well as ease-of-use. Prior to Sport Court’s appearance on the volleyball scene, championships had to be divided among many venues in a community, with basketball courts being re-striped to accommodate the sport.

The Manifest Foundation to Give At-Risk Youth a Chance to Play with NBA Greats on Sport Court basketball court

POSTED ON 9/7/10 | The Manifest Foundation will give local at-risk youth the chance of a lifetime April 14 when it hosts “Hoops & Hugs,” a mini basketball camp with former Chicago Bulls coach Michael Brown and the NBA’s first female head coach, Nancy Lieberman. Almost 30 children and teens who are on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada’s waiting list and from The Embracing Project will learn from and be mentored by two of basketball’s greats during the two-hour event. “Hoops & Hugs” participants will play on a specially constructed DreamCourt, a Manifest Foundation/Nancy Lieberman Foundation basketball court provided by Connor Sport Court International.
