Sport Court’s local New Jersey CourtBuilder™, SportProsUSA, partnered with Impact Charity Services on a restoration project for the Youth Programs at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (MDL).
Refurbishing a Safe Place to Play
SportsProsUSA and Impact Charity Services refurbished a 95’ x 55’ indoor basketball court at Joint Base MDL. The new Maple Select™ basketball court features red lanes and blue baselines with a custom Joint Base MDL logo at middle court.
A first-in-the-nation project, the community center at Joint Base MDL serves to enhance educational and recreational opportunities for children living on-base whose parent(s) are on active duty. Joint Base MDL Youth Programs give children whose parents are stationed at United States Air Force's McGuire Air Force Base, the United States Army's Fort Dix and the United States Navy's Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst a warm, happy, safe and healthy place to play.
Joint Base MDL has specifically designed their youth program with activities and services that are developmental in nature and promote the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative and positive character development. The mission of Joint Base MDL’s youth program matches Sport Court’s mission to provide all children with a safe and fun place to play while building character and promoting teamwork.
