At Sport Court, we believe that children all around the world should have access to a safe environment where honesty, respect, hard work, teamwork and fun merge together and are rewarded. That’s why we partnered with Carter’s Kids and Lowe's to bring kids at the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles a safe place to play.
Through our Court for Communities program and our partnership with Carter’s Kids we are building safe environments that foster and promote awareness of fitness and self-esteem for America's youth.
The building of a safe environment at the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles has extra meaning for Carter Oosterhouse, the founder of Carter’s Kids.
"It is so exciting to be back in Los Angeles with this build," said Oosterhouse via E!. "Living here, it really hits close to home and the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles is one of the oldest children's non-profit organizations in the city—so it's rich with history. And the timing couldn't be more perfect with the holidays."
Giving the gift of play is always important to Sport Court but giving it in partnership with Carter’s Kids during the holidays adds extra significance to this Sport Court game court.
“Sport Court believes that children around the world should have safe, healthy and happy lives. Carter Kid’s shared commitment makes our partnership a perfect fit, as we bring a joint mission to life through colorful, safe game courts,” said Joel McCausland, Sport Court Regional Director. “This dedication has extra meaning to both us and Carter’s Kids, as we capture the spirit of the holidays and Carter’s love for the LA in the installation of the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles new Sport Court game court.”
At Sport Court, we are proud to work with Carter’s Kids and Lowe's to bring this new space to boys and girls of LA. We look forward to seeing children play tennis, volleyball, soccer, four square, paddleball and more on their new Sport Court game court.
