The weather is steadily growing colder, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get outside and get active on your Sport Court flooring. You can make it fun by playing games on your Sport Court game court. Start by grabbing a friend or family member to come join you.
Cardio
Cardio may not be your favorite form of exercise, but it is important for you to do in order to get fit and stay that way. Many people think running is the best or only way to get your cardio in. Fortunately, there are several other options.
Instead of running, grab a jump rope and head out to your Sport Court flooring. Jump roping is a great form of cardio that can be just as effective as running. You can also perform jumping jacks, burpees and center hop pushes to help build muscle while doing these workouts.
Core
Having a strong core is important when doing any kind of workout — and who doesn’t want a six pack? Achieving this doesn’t have to happen inside the four walls of your gym. You can your six pack started just about anywhere.
Head out to your basketball floor and put a soft mat down for protection. You can strengthen your core by doing crunches, planks, bicycle kicks and much more. Mix it up. You don’t even need weights when doing these exercises. Start by doing 10 of each every day and continue to increase the amount. Before you know it, you will be able to 50 of each.
Leg
If you are looking for a workout that will make your legs burn, you don’t even need dumbbells or barbells. Head out to your Sport Court flooring and try these exercises. Your legs are one of the strongest parts of your body, so you want to work them hard.
Start with squat jumps. Be careful with your knees, because they are an important joint in your body. Start with your feet hip-width apart. Squat down until your thighs are parallel to the floor and jump as high as you can. Repeat this movement as many times as you can. You can also do side lunges, hip-raises and scissor box jumps to increase your leg strength.
