POSTED ON 8/26/09 | Connor Sport Court International’s quality management system has been awarded ISO-9001:2008 certification by an independent third party auditor. This certification means the company’s management system meets or exceeds ISO 9001:2008 standards for such areas as continuous improvement, product quality, customer satisfaction and service, as well as efficiency in operation and reduction of waste. Connor Sport Court is the first sports flooring manufacturer in the United States to obtain this prestigious certification.

ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized standard from 146 countries in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives. ISO 9001:2008 sets the standard for quality management systems, ensuring that customer satisfaction is emphasized and maintained. Connor Sport Court will be subject to annual third-party audits assuring that the company maintains the strict guidelines of an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.

Connor Sport Court International’s management system was independently audited by NQA USA of Acton, Massachusetts. The audit was a week-long affair that covered all company departments at both of Connor Sport Court’s Salt Lake City locations. The official date of ISO 9001:2008 certification and registration was August 6, 2009.
Connor Sport Court International has manufacturing facilities of its Sport Court® modular sports surfaces in Salt Lake City and of its Connor hardwood maple playing surfaces in Amasa, Michigan. The company also has offices in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
